On October 23, 2025, Haicheng Education successfully accompanied the Vice Principal of Thornton Academy (USA) and his delegation on a friendly visit to Hangzhou, where they held meetings and signed a China–U.S. Sister School Agreement with a local middle school in Binjiang District.

In the calligraphy classroom filled with the fragrance of ink, the Vice Principal of Thornton Academy eagerly tried his hand at writing the Chinese character “福” (Blessing), while an instructor explained its profound cultural significance.

绘制的扇子还被赠予副校长，扇面上绘有中国的友好使者——国宝大熊猫。
The painted fan was presented to the Vice Principal, featuring China’s friendly ambassador—the iconic giant panda.

昆曲长廊 · 传承雅韵

沿着连接传统与未来的昆曲长廊，老师娓娓道来，将昆曲六百年的源流与艺术特色向嘉宾一一阐释，其深厚的文化底蕴令在场众人沉浸其中。
Along the Kunqu corridor, which bridges tradition and the future, the instructor vividly explained the 600-year history and artistic features of Kunqu opera, immersing the guests in its profound cultural richness.

The Vice Principal of Thornton Academy paused to listen attentively, examined the illustrated materials, admired the exquisite costumes, and, under the instructor’s guidance, both principals personally tried playing the gong and cymbals.

作为首个引入昆曲课程的学校，这一百年雅韵在校园中焕发新的生机。
As the first institution to introduce Kunqu courses, this century-old elegant art is now coming alive on campus.

双师课堂激荡智慧火花

在STEAM课堂上，一堂别开生面的《风力驱动车》双师课程精彩呈现。教师通过图示拆解、实物对比和模型演示，深入浅出地讲解风能转化原理，并引导学生从扇叶设计、齿轮传动等多个维度进行创新思考。
In the STEAM class, an engaging co-teaching session on “Wind-Powered Vehicles” was presented. The instructors used diagrams, real objects, and model demonstrations to explain the principles of wind energy conversion, guiding students to think creatively about fan blade design, gear transmission, and other aspects.

Mr. Clint Williams 深度参与课堂，向教师提出问题，并共同探讨设计方案优化，在“可行性、创新性、节能性”的多元评价中，亲身体验项目化学习的独特魅力。
Mr. Clint Williams actively participated in the class, raised questions to the instructors, and explored ways to optimize design solutions. Through evaluations of feasibility, creativity, and energy efficiency, he experienced firsthand the unique charm of project-based learning.

10月23日上午，在庄重的签约仪式上，双方分别介绍了各自学校的办学特色与成果，并围绕课程开发、师生互访、资源共享等未来合作方向进行了深入交流。

On the morning of October 23, at a solemn signing ceremony, the principals of both schools introduced their respective educational features and achievements, and engaged in in-depth discussions on future cooperation, including curriculum development, teacher and student exchanges, and resource sharing.

The Vice Principal of Thornton Academy attended the ceremony, listening attentively and actively participating in discussions, demonstrating a strong interest and anticipation for China-US educational collaboration.

In the presence of all attendees, both principals formally signed the cooperation agreement, laying a solid foundation for a long-term and stable partnership between the two schools.

在仪式上，学校代表赠送了由傅舟波老师创作的书画作品。
During the ceremony, the school presented calligraphy and paintings created by Teacher Fu Zhoubo.

书法作品《海内存知己，天涯若比邻》传递着跨越山海的真挚情谊，表达了对中美两校深厚友谊的美好祝愿。
The calligraphy piece, “Even afar, friends are close at heart”, conveys sincere friendship across distances and expresses warm wishes for a strong bond between the two schools.

牡丹作品以“花开盛世”的美好寓意，象征两校交流合作的繁荣与发展。
The peony painting symbolizes prosperity and flourishing, representing hopes for the thriving development of the schools’ exchange and cooperation.

在23号上午签约仪式之后，桑顿学院副校长还参观了海成教育总部，详细了解总部在国际课程建设、教育资源整合和中外学校合作项目方面的专业经验。
Following the signing ceremony, the Vice Principal of Thornton Academy also visited Haicheng Education Headquarters, gaining an in-depth understanding of the headquarters’ expertise in international curriculum development, education resource integration, and global school partnership projects.

参观过程中，双方就未来在课程共建、教师培训及升学衔接等方面的合作进行了初步交流，为后续战略合作奠定了基础。
